The Tunbridge Wells List

The Tunbridge Wells List — 19–25 October 2026

This week in Tunbridge Wells: LEGO on the railway and Norman Jay at The Forum

LEGO takes over the old Engine Shed at Tunbridge Wells West this weekend, The Amelia throws an after-hours party for its big Hodgkin show, and Norman Jay brings his Good Times sound to The Forum. Kent half term runs from Monday 26 to Friday 30 October, but the Halloween trails are already open, so families can get a head start this weekend. That's eight picks for the week, one worth the drive and five dates for the diary. And the clocks go back an hour on Sunday 25 October, so you get an extra hour in bed.

Families: Spa Valley Model Brick Show

Why bother? Some of the UK's best adult LEGO builders fill the historic Engine Shed with railways, cityscapes and Technic cars, and there's a minifigure hunt to keep the kids busy.

When: Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October

Where: Engine Shed, Tunbridge Wells West station, Nevill Terrace, TN2 5QY

Price: Show only: adults £5, children 2–15 no charge. Heritage train travel with the show included: adults £18, seniors £17, children 2–15 no charge, family £36

Good to know: The railway hasn't published exhibition opening hours. Trains run from 10am, with the last one back into Tunbridge Wells West at 4:15pm, so a daytime visit is the safe bet. With a travel ticket you can ride the line to Groombridge and Eridge as often as you like that day. Find all the hidden letters in the minifigure hunt and you could win a family travel ticket for 2027.
